Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner, Holistic Massage Therapist, and Pregnancy Bodywork Specialist

Wellington-based Lauryn Johnston brings 20 years of experience to her holistic practice, specializing in massage therapy throughout the childbearing years. She has trained extensively with many of the world's leading experts in pregnancy, postpartum, and labour bodywork, ensuring her clients' highest standard of care.

Lauryn integrates all her knowledge into her sessions, offering advanced techniques such as breech tilts, myofascial release, mobilizations, Moxa, needling, and neuromuscular touch. These techniques effectively relieve common pregnancy ailments like SPD, Sciatica, and SIJ dysfunction. She also specializes in working with high-risk pregnancies, twins, C-section scar rehabilitation, and fertility support.

Lauryn collaborates closely with a network of birth professionals, who often refer women needing pain management and expert care for pregnancy complications. Her goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate support throughout pregnancy.

In addition to her hands-on work, Lauryn is a clinical aromatherapist and educator. She developed and taught the pregnancy massage curriculum at the New Zealand College of Massage before its closure in 2020. She also offers partner training, empowering women and their support partners with massage techniques to ease discomfort during pregnancy and labour.
